30 Years of the Museum of Russian-German Cultural History – and a great opportunity to retell the story of our digital tour!
To mark our 30th anniversary, we have revised and completely restructured our digital tour through the history of the Russian Germans.
In ten short videos, the digital tour takes you through key chapters of Russian-German history – from Catherine II’s invitation to German settlers in the 18th century to the arrival of the Russian-Germans in Germany.
The tour explores journeys and new beginnings, questions of home and migration, as well as persecution, deportation, and life under the conditions of Stalin’s terror.
The individual chapters reveal just how diverse and deeply moving the history of the Russian Germans is.
The complete digital tour is available on YouTube in both German and English. This allows anyone, regardless of time or location, to explore this history and discover the museum digitally.
